Need helf finding Orginial Confederate mounted trouser photo

Does anyone know whare I can find some detailed photos of orginial Confederate mounted trouser? I need to make a pair of Confederate mounted trousers and I need to get a close look at the way the seat was put on to them. The only orginial mounted trousers that I can find photos of are Federal.

Mark, what can you infer about the relative war time prevalence of those trousers given your inability to find surviving examples?

Re: Need helf finding Orginial Confederate mounted trouser photo

I've seen pictures of what were described as British-made Confederate mounted trousers, but I believe they were described this way only because they had a piece of canton flannel sewn into the crotch. However, I've seen that particular construction on several pairs of British trousers, including those made for foot regiments, so I don't think it's a "mounted" pattern at all, really. I can send pictures of a pair of Brit trousers in my collection.

    Cheers,
