I am restoring a very early Marlin Ballard. These were made up of left over Merrimack and/or Brown Ballard parts. For a proper restoration I need a forearm with a metal nosecap for a round barrel. Just the nosecap would be fine also. Perhaps someone out there has restocked a sporterized 3 band Brown military rifle and have a shortened forearm sitting in a box or on a shelf? Please take a look in your "stuff" and get back to me. Thanks for looking.
PS: I'm still looking for a Rapine 454-253 hollow base mold.
