FS: Orig US Army Model 1840 NCO Sword

    SOLD PENDING FUNDS

Original sword issued to NCOs. This NOT to be confused with a musician's sword.

    31.5" blade, ricasso is stamped:

    U S
    J. K. (J. H. ??)
    1861

The sword is in great shape overall. Brass handle is solid & intact with no defects or damage from use. Blade likewise is solid with no nicks, chips, cracks or damage.

NO scabbard - I am ONLY offering the sword!

Asking $ - will consider serious offers. Buyer pays shipping/insurance; if desired - arrangements can be made to transfer in person at, or in the vicinity of, the Fort.

Pics attached, please PM or email (rdfreeman1906@gmail.com) should you have any questions or interest.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration!
