Just got a new barrel for my .50 Maynard; a newHoyt reline. Fully 80% of the cases that fit in my old barrel will not chamber in the new one. Either this chamber is too small, or the cases have ballooned. Can't tell which without some numbers! Help!

I had a similar problem. I sent my barrel and cases to John Bly and he resized my cases to fit my barrel. My cases were a mixed lot, some brass, some nickle plated, some 40 years old. I do not recall the cost but it must have been reasonable (I'm cheap) and the turn around time was very quick.
Good luck

Good tip, Dan. I got a bunch from when I had my Maynards rebarrelled, but hadn't been able to part with them. Like old molds, you never know when they may be useful. Bob
