I shoot a couple Sharps percussions with Charlie Hahn's fine cardboard tubes and Rapine ring tail bullets. The ring tails fit so tightly in the tubes, a large number of the tubes split when the bullet was introduced. An experiment recommended itself to me. I ran the ring tail into a .45 calibre sizing die. The ring tail was just slightly tapered as a result and the bullets form a fine friction fit after easily sliding into the cartridge tubes. Thought I'd pass this on.
