I got a call from a friend of mine out in Arizona. He has a chance to buy an Armi Sport M1863 Sharps Carbine "new in the box" for a good price because an acquaintance of his is going through a nasty divorce and needs to raise money for legal expenses. He wanted to know what I thought of the arm before buying it.

He is new to black powder shooting and asked me what I thought of the Armi Sport M1863 Sharps Carbine. Unfortunately, I am totally unfamiliar with the Armi Sports Sharps.

So, for you Skirmishers that own an Armi Sports M1863 Sharps Carbine and shoot one in competition...what do you think of it?

How is the "fit and finish?" How is the quality? How is the accuracy?
