Greg,

I proposed and the BOD accepted my proposal. My only source of info was taken from Flaydermans latest catalog. In it will list the originals that meet our rule of produced 100 or more.
I'll list the most prevalent available today at reasonable prices. There are others but their rarity and expense probably will not be seen on the line.

1842 Aston. $450 - $1400. There's a jump from the $800-$900 ones to the $1400 when the bores are excellent.
1842 Johnson/Waters
1836 Johnson/Waters. These have the half moon rear sight.
1816 Simeon North.
Model 1822.
Model 1818.
Ames
Palmetto (very expensive)

Someone recently posted about buying repro parts, a flintlock barrel but have it converted to percussion, and have a repro gun. Of course it would have to be approved by SAC but it's the only way to have a repro. None are produced today. Yet.

Now's the time. Get in on the ground floor. Progress is just beginning on learning how to make one of these shoot.

Best of luck.
Hope to see you on the line in May.

Eric
