As the title says, Id like to find a bayonet with a broken tip or thats bent for conversion to an improvised entrenching tool. A repro would be ok as its mostly for school demos / educational talks etc, not actual digging. I just cant see paying for a new one when I know theres got to be some messed up ones out there. I'm not picky as to which musket it goes on as long as its ACW appropriate. I have a blackey lined up to do the work. Has anybody done this before? pics?
Thought If I get several I could have several examples of different improvised tools.
