I would like some information on what modifications are necessary on the sights of the Confederate Sharps carbine for N-SSA shooting. The rear sight is a buckhorn and is already pretty low and the front sight appears to be part of the barrel so cannot easily be removed and replaced with a raised one (unless a gunsmith does it, special tools are needed).
