Does anyone make a plastic gallager case? If not then how come?

They were available a looong time ago. I tried them and promptly trashed them. The necks were so thin it would not hold a big bullet (original type) securely in the heat. After a couple firings they got worse.

If you were to make the cases out of glass filled nylon, like the old Yeck Smith Tubes they would hold up. The material that is used to today is the same cheap stuff that they make milk jugs out of.

Sadly you will never see glass filled anything, because it is more expensive and last just about as long as a brass case would.

Just my $.02, and I am willing to make change.....

CAN ANYONE TELL ME FROM FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE HOW THE PLASTIC SMITH TUBES ARE WORKING WHEN CONVERTING OVER AND LINING TO 50 CAL.?

They work great the only problem I had the case split using cow and I loaded 50 cases. I went to the brass smith tubes and I like them better hope this helps. Allen
