I apologize for this not Civil-War related, but I don't have many resources for selling stuff... Thanks for your understanding. I'll take this post down if necessary.
I have a 500-round case of Wolf Precision Ammo Military Classic .30-06 ammunition for sale. Berdan-primed, steel-cased, bi-metal jacketed. This ammo ammo is safe to fire from a Garand and should not require a gas plug.
Contrary to popular belief, steel-cased ammo is not harmful to a weapon, but it does cause more fouling in the chamber due to lack of expansion, which could cause a brass-cased round to become stuck in the chamber. Simply clean your weapon after firing, and you can hop right back over to brass-cased ammo.
