All,
Does anyone make a base plug that produces a thinner skirt for the RCBS .58 Hodgdon?
Thanks

Any decent machinist or home shop machinist with a lathe could turn you a new base plug for your Hodgdon mould. Making a new base plug is a very simple lathe turning job. So, ask round.
One hint: As your Hodgdon mould is made from iron, do not have the base plug turned out of aluminum or brass, as dissimilar metals have different expansion tendencies when heated to casting temperatures.

Picked one up from John at the Spring Nationals, fit perfectly, and was less than 10 bucks.
