Do Winchester #11caps work without throwing splinters?

Hello:
Am shooting Romano Maynard #1's with his nipples. Larry recommends only Rem. caps, which can be harder to find than the Winchesters, which he has not tried.

So, if YOU have used Win. #11's, please tell me if they perform well, especially if they come off easily, but do not throw metal fragments/splinters. Thanks.

I was just speaking the proprietor of the Rebel Trading Post on Thursday, and she said that Gander Mountain is selling Remington #10 and #11 caps for $7.95 a tin. It may be worth checking it out.
