Can any one steer me to the rules for the new SS Pistol competition? I have one that is an original Aston in great condition and I have been trying it at my local range and it seems to shoot pretty good at 25 yds. Haven't tried it at 50 yet. What is the correct loading procedure for NSSA shooting? I assume that it is similar to a smooth bore musket except that the swivel ramrod cannot or should not be used. Can a short separate rammer be used? Is any kind of loading stand permitted? Thanks for the help and hope to see you on the line at the Nationals. Is this event going to be used at regionals?

See Section 13:

As far as regional compeition with this class of arm, that is up to the host unit of the skirmish to have this match at their skirmish.
