I have a colt / 63 Springfield For Sale. New with raised sights, Lock has been worked , and it has been glass bedded. Never shot. It is a donation to raise funds for Ass. Asking $800. Or make offer.

Is it a Colt Special Model 1861 or a Springfield Model 1863. They are two different muskets.

Markings on lock 1863 AMOSKEAG MFG. CO Mancheaster, N.H. It was given to us and I dont know very much about it.
