I am looking for a used Smith carbine that has had the fire hole/clean out screw work already done. I have a navy arms Smith and I am looking for one for a friend, but I don't want him to go through all of the issues normally seen with losing clean out screws! If you have one that you want to part with, respond to this post and tell me what you have.

Bill,

I have a Smith that you might like. The barrel has been relined, the breech work done, and the trigger reduced to 3 1/2 pounds. It is my back up gun. The hinge has play that causes some concern for some buyers but the black plastic tubes tighten up the action fine.

The barrel shoots well with a 515139 sized down to 510.

You get the gun and 100 unfired black tubes for 875 shipped with a seven day return policy. I live in southeast PA 60 miles east of Gettysburg, and 80 miles north of Baltimore, and 60 miles west of Philadelphia. (Lancaster County). If you pick up, the cost is 825. If you return the gun, I will not return the cost of shipping. Shipping to New Jesery is 31.00 by Fedex.
