type II iron mounted Harpers Ferry build

Im looking to build a type II Harpers Ferry iron mounted, with steel patchbox. I have a 2 band 55 springfield from James River without the patchbox so Im halfway there. Would anyone know if a zouave rear sight is the right sight for this rifle, and whats the measurement for the ramrod stud? guide or no guide? Any help would be appreciated.
