This is a modern made reproduction of the british model 1853 infantry rifle as imported by the confederacy during the late war of yankee agression. The orginal euroarms factory markings have been removed. ...the authentic aging of this piece is quite well done. The confederate markings, although well done, are not authentic. A nice piece for the reinactor or shooter, particularly, if you are from north carolina. Mechanically excellent with a bright, shiny bore and sharp rifling. $795, plus freight.
