I came across a Mississippi that I can't place. The only markings on the barrel, left side just ahead do breach are "RAH". I believe this to indicate a Bobby Hoyt barrel. It also is a .58 with long range sights and has a Tyron lock plate. Does anyone know if Bobby Hoyt built this gun? Were Tyron's converted to .58 with long range sights? I would like to get a SAC card for this musket eventually.

The barrel is one of Bobs. Do a little research on the Mississippi and look for George Mollers book in google books.

Thanks. I will have the rifle early next week and will be able to provide greater detail. I'll try to contact P.A. If nothing else I will bring it to Winchester in the fall if not able to arrange inspection sooner.
