I just recently acquired parts for an 1861 Springfield rifle. One of the parts I do not need is the barrel. This barrel has been reamed to a smooth bore, so it would have to be relined. The front sight is present, and the barrel is full length (not cut at all!).
In good light, the V and bits of the eagle are present. There are also vise marks near the breech area. The nipple is clear, but I did not attempt to take it out as I did not want to bugger it up.
The barrel is perfect for a project gun. I have attached pictures. I am asking $100 OBO
