Hey yall,
A friend of mine just received these two original guns in his store and I had my own opinions on the two, But I wanted some confirmation. Any help or ideas would be fabulous.
Gun #1:
Back of gun, reverse of lockplate. Inscribed is a British Crown over G. Again found on brass near trigger. Doesn't appear to have markings on lock plate. Numbers on barrel, unreadable. Interesting butt of rifle, it has a little should outdent/curve in the gun. Some kind of stamp/inscription near butt of rifle, could not make it out with a magnifying glass.
Pics gun #2 gun #1 is on left and gun #2 is right.
gun #2 is a two band rifle with the enfield "tower" marking clearly inscribed and accompanied by typical English crown.
