Really nice ASTON dated 1848 on lock and barrel Wood is almost perfect and so is the the metal. No replaced parts what so ever. No cracked parts. Inside of lock has a beautiful fire blue on everything. I doubt it was ever carried in the field. I bought it to try and compete in the new smooth bore pistol class but alas I can't shoot a rifled revolver accurately, much less a smooth bore. I have not shot or even loaded this pistol. Bought it last year from Rock Island Auction. If you want a nice pistol this is it. I will take pics and send to a serious inquiry but you have to call me FIRST to discuss it. 757-876-1954. NO CALL NO PICTURES. LM and WAT cartouches on flat opposite lock sub inspector m on almost all metal parts and also on stock.
