I have had a .58 caliber two band barrel for about 7-8 years. At the muzzle it is a .578, in the middle it is a .577, and at the breech it is a healthy .576. I can get one or two minies sized at .577 to the breech but after that it gets sticky. My other barrels are one diameter from the muzzle to the breech and this is the first I have ever had that way. Will it shoot fine the way it is or would it be better to have the same diameter? Thank you in advance for any ideas or thoughts.

It would shoot better if it were all the same diameter. Either Mr. Hoyt or Mr. Whitaker can fix it.

What happens with minies sized to seat ok on the charge? Can you load to get adequate skirt expansion as it progresses down the barrel?
