Mississippi rifle

I got my American Rifleman today. Each month, the last page has an article entitled: I have this old gun. This month the featured firearm is the 1841 Rifle. It has a short history and discusses a Remington Mississippi.

BTW, EVERY N-SSA member should be receiving an NRA publication. The NRA is the "big dog" defending our gun rights.

Muley Gil, you are so right about the NRA and what they do for our future! With that having been said, I haven't received the latest copy of the AR....I guess the Mailman isn't done with it yet! :D

One of the best investments I ever made was my NRA Life Membership. Never expires till I do, makes a statement, and never miss a magazine. What's not to like? Highly recommend it even if you are already an annual member. Perhaps my magazine will be waiting for me when I get home (contract DONE!) on Dec 28th. No more sandbox for me. Also waiting will be my new (to me) H and P Smoothbore and my Standard Products M1 Carbine. Regards, Bob
