Would anyone know if this rifle was ever produced with a .54 cal. counterbored barrel?

According to Udo Vollmer's book Deutsche Militär-Handfeuerwaffen, Heft 1 - Bayern [German Military Firearms, Vol. I, Bavaria], pages 164-166, the three variations of the Bavarian Muster 1858 rifle -- the Füsiliergewehr, Schützengewehr, and the Jägerbüchse -- were manufactured in 13.9 mm/.547 inch caliber. I see no reference to any of them being counter-bored.

My M 1858 Füsiliergewehr is not counter-bored.

Michael, how deep of a counterbore are we talking about? I ask about the depth because, as Don and others know, counter-boring was often done on military arms as a means of re-dressing a damaged crown when the barrel cannot be shortened due to its need as a military rifle to fit a bayonet. So the muzzle is counter-bored to re-dress the crown and restore the rifle's accuracy.
