Would any one out there have a lock with the Lawrence type pellet primer apparatus for this Italian rifle- I have a27" barreled rifle I would like to make into a carbine but the lock does not have the false pellet primer type lock. I could turn it into a Richmond type with the lock I have but that would mean removing all of the US markings and changing the hammer and replacing the rear sight. A us type lock would make the job easier then all is left is to cut down the barrel and replace the sight. Any one have a plate?
