Is anyone familier with these bullets for BP revolvers? These are in 36 but they also came in 44. They are swaged not cast and I only have a few hundred left.I got thm from a con man and swindler and I don't know if anyone else is making them. They have a hollow base that expands to take the rifling, a round nose, a band around the tip that shaves off, and a base that drops into the cylinder. In use they seem to work like a wadcutter, are very accurate, easy to load, and I would like some more:

Jaxenro,
If you do find any in .44, be sure to post where you found them!
Thanks.

I too use to use them in .44. I may still have a limited amount left in a junk pile. I also found them to be quite good but like you couldn't find them anymore and abandoned their use. Went to the round ball instead. I believe they were in a box marked Taurus. A search of 5 pages on a search engine gives you the Ford car, zodiac bull, and gun manufacturer. Didn't go past 5 pages. Good luck.

Hornaday use to make a 38 cal. swaged bullet just like them. I still have a box of them. I don't remember if they made them in 44 or 45 cal.

I posted thes on five different forums two people remembered the name Taurus, a few remembered trying them, and those that did liked them. If you come across the 44's I wouldn't mind buying 2 or 3 as samples I might just start making them myself swagers aren't that expensive and I could have dies made

This mold looks similar, even though I know you said swaged...http://www.biglube.com/BulletMolds.aspx?ItemID=d3fb4508-70e1-4d9b-87bd-6d9c2d504d33
