My father, Bud Altemus, was a long time skirmisher w/both WBR & 12th US. I also skirmished for over 20 years. It's time to part with the remaining items from our skirmishing days, as follows:
Smith carbine - sn 12168. Initals CFM on stock. Missing screw for trigger. Only accessories are cleaning rod and sight protector. Bud used it in competition for a good number of years.
Repro revolver. Assume Colt - "Made in Italy by Palmetto" sn 018151. No accessories. I don't know if he ever competed with this revolver.
Two cap boxes and two cartridge boxes with belts, buckles, breastplates. One each of the cap/cartridge boxes were said to be original... I don't know. No tin liners for the cartridge boxes.
One men's union wool blouse
One men's blue wool trousers
One grey raincoat
