Looking for a Ballard Military rifle

I'm looking for a Ballard rifle for single shot competition, so it has to be "right" or can easily be made "right." I'd prefer a .56/56 but I'm flexible, as long as the bore/chamber is approved for competition. I have a Ballard carbine and I'd like to compliment that with the rifle.

I do not know if it is what you are looking for, but there is a Ballard listed on ebay that is missing the butt stock. The rest of the rifle is complete. I believe the bid was at $700. I think the caliber was .44 rim fire.
