This Pedersoli reproduction features American walnut buttstock and forearm with satin finish, 3" drop and 13 7/8" trigger pull. The 54 caliber blued barrel is 22" long, tapered round 1.250" at breech to .830" at muzzle, cut rifling .010" deep, 1-48" twist, 7 lands measure .520" and 7 grooves measure .540". Front sight is steel stud base and silver blade, rear sight is steel flip-up with elevator to 800 yards.
Steel furniture, color casehardened. Single trigger, single barrel band, saddle bar with ring. Percussion with 5/16x24 nipple uses musket caps. Overall length is 39 1/4" and total weight is 8 lbs. Excellent reproduction of an 1859 Sharps Carbine.
Does have some minor wear on the barrel and the bluing is worn off and shows some minor pitting near the rear sight. Bore is bright and rifling is excellent.
