Original owner of 1863 Antonio Zoli Gardone V.T. rifle (zouave/Mississippi?). Former reenactor in late 1960s. Used for only three years in Michigan shooting matches and reenactments in Winchester. Then oiled and put away for 40 years. Bluing good, some tiny pitting in rifling grooves- walnut finish stock refinished to maple color. Leather strap. Otherwise good condition. Located in Portland ME vicinity. Willing to meet. Reasonable offers sought.

I have looked into the rules, and you are right. It is not set out as a requirement, however we do request that people do post prices for wanted/for sale items. Stay tuned for changes to the way that wanted/for sale items are handled.

Yancey is correct. We are currently testing a Wanted/For Sale program that we hope to implement shortly after Nationals that will create a framework for buying, selling and putting up ads to ensure that all relevant information is provided, and that seller info is available to buyers to make sure they can communicate effectively.

Meanwhile, while it isn't explicitly stated in the rules for the forum, it is understood that pricing for items for sale is expected as a matter of course for effective selling and minimal misunderstanding.

I will update the forum rules to reflect this.

someone has kindly clarified for me that the rifle for sale is a Zouave not a Mississippi. The price is $395 OBO.

Zoli Zouave, very good condition, used only a couple of seasons, price now $325 OBO.

2) I need lock and parts ie: tumbler, sear, main spring, complete lock etc.
(do you have any or can you suggest where to get parts)
