I have a navy arms 1863 springfield it looks like an Italian import got the feel and weight of a euroarms but not sure it is clean good bore bought it from another member off this forum and never fired it. Really wanting an enfield or an eearlier three bander rifled preferably.

These Navy Arms 1863s were made by Mikoru (spelling?) in Japan and are high quality. Personally, I would shoot it before I traded it off. You might like it.

Miroku is the correct spelling. Miroku, a Japanese company stopped making CW firearms several years ago. Dixie was a big seller of their products. Miroku makes fine quality modern firearms including some Brownings and Winchesters. I agree with Gil, try it before you sell or trade it.

An interesting exchange on this very topic a while back. I always considered them some of the best myself. Theymake awesome shooters as the ones I had were very accurate.

The markings on the barrel should tell the story. Please post what is stamped on yours.
