Rapine 575461 mould

Gentlemen:

Hope I am posting this in the appropriate section of the forum.

I have recently acquired one of Master Ray's moulds which is stamped "575461" on the side.
Would this designation be the Rapine International?

Rapines international bullet has a flat tip on end of base plug. The bullet weight is 455. I have 2 and they read 575455 and 577455. Not saying he did not make it any other way through the years. Rich

This one has a pointed base plug....wonder what this particular model is. Hey, may be a real shooter!

What you have more than likely is a old style minie mould that Rapine thought he picked up a 0 but picked up a 1 when he stamped 461. You can google (rapine bullet moulds-castpics) and pull up his PDF pictures of all his bullet moulds. Rich
