Greetings all - Moose would like to start producing bullet moulds for the .36 and .44 cal pistols...but not sure what size bullets are most common....any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated! Once ready, these Moose Ball Moulds will be available as either single or double cavity. Thanks so much for your help!

I have a Uberti remmington. Inexplicably, the factory cylinder was .457, and the slugged bore measured .459. Charlie Hahn aligned the cylinders and bored them out to .460. Only mould I could find that would shave a ring of lead was .464.

Hey Sandy. First, have a great trip! As for Roundball moulds for revolvers, I shoot an early Navy Arms Remington (I was told it may be a Pietta), bought in 1983. I have had no work done to my revolver and it shoots really well. I shoot .454" round balls in my revolver with excellent results.

I use .454s in my Pietta 1858 New Army.

One thing to note here, to compete against the $20 Lee molds you will need to make sure your sprue cut-off is as clean as theirs is. They've figured out how to get a near-tangent sprue cut.
