Colt 2nd Generation Police Pocket Grips vs Original Grips.

I have and F series 1862 Police Pocket for sale. I have an inquiry about the grips. A guy wants to know if a set of original grips from a .31 cal. Police Pocket will fit on the my 2nd Generation 1862 F Series Police Pocket .36 Cal. Anybody out there know?

I doubt it. Even on originals the grips were numbered with pencil to the gun they were fitted to. A perfect fit even between two originals would be a long shot.
