Tightening up a Maynard...

I have a second model Maynard I acquired many moons ago and am shooting it with a Jensco barrel. At the Mason-Dixon I noticed that there was some leakage at the back of the tube. The barrel is loose when the lever is pulled up tight. Is there any recommended way to reduce the slop at the brech?

Original 1st Model Maynards have a screw under the receiver you can turn to "Tighten" up the headspace. Takes about 2 seconds with a screwdriver. Don't know what the replica 2nd Models have.
