Want to buy/ trade for Fayetteville Rifle

I have been on the search for a Fayetteville reproduction for a number of years, and in the reenacting world I have been unable to find. My g-g-grandfather was an employee of the arsenal through out the war and a member of the 1st NC regiment (Bethel), so my interest is more then just a passing interest in a cool gun. Looking to spend between 800-1000 for the rifle. I do have a James River "Jackson" '55 musket to trade if there is an interest. I can supply pictures if anyone is interested.

Keep your eye on this board, as good, custom made repos come up every now and then. In the mean time why not join, or think about joining the N-SSA,??.
Their are quite a few units in your area. I'm sure you would be more than welcome, with your family history background. You are right in the heart of N-SSA skirmish territory. Good Luck
