Custom main springs ?

I have a Navy Arms Charleville, Model of 1763. The mainspring broke on it and replacements are not available thru Navy Arms or Dixie Gun Works.

Anyone know of a gunsmith who may make a mainspring for me ?

Try S&S Firearms and Lodgewood. They may have exactly want you need. Sometimes a spring from a similar sized lock will work with some modification. James

If S&S or Lodgewood do not have it try The Rifle Shop. The only thing with the Rifle Shop you my have to harden it yourself. It's not that to difficult.

If all else fails you can buy spring steel and make one yourself I have never done it but I know it can be done
