Henry / Gibbs style rifing

I am doing a little home work right now, and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with Henry Style rifling in 54 or 58 caliber front loader with regular mini's?

to my knowledge that rifling design was only in .45 rifles. but, with my experience with that rifling is that it likes to shoot dirty with a GG bullet. actually the lyman volunteer mold works pretty good.
