If you shoot a .56 Joslyn you know you can use the .56 Spencer rimfire cases in them with no modifications to the gun. The .56 cases fit perfectly. They use a .22 blank for a primer; you just load the case with the .22 aligned with the firing pin. I have some for $4 ea. PM if interested.

I believe you will find that while .56-.50 Spencer will fit, the Joslyn was designed to use a slightly longer and more powerful cartridge developed by Springfield Armory, the .56/60-450 Joslyn rimfire cartridge (with 60 grains powder charge and 450 grain bullet).

Eggman,

Do you make these cases yourself? If so, could you be interested in taking on a similar project for another rifle?

If not, where did you get them?

Thanks,

Mike

I have these .22 primed rimfires in .32 long & X-long, .38 long, .41 long, .44 long, and in .56 Spencer. I can provide any quantity. I do not make any other sizes and will not. Prices for the other sizes available on request via PM.
