I have a rifle I would like to trade for a good quality musket. It is a Deluxe Sportsman 1873 Wincheste. It has the pistol grip and checkered stock and is beautiful.
from Taylors/Uberti. It is the long range model with 30" octagon barrel. I sent it to a gunsmith and got a trigger job, reduced lever springs, and reduced main spring. It is very smooth. I is NIB and I never shot it. I have another 1873 already and thought maybe I could trade this one for a skirmish musket. It doesn't matter if the musket is 2 or 3 band, or a sharps type. I would like something equivalent to the price of this rifle but if it isn't then we can negotiate the difference.
I will also sell it for around $1399. These rifles sell for over 1200 new and I put 275 dollars worth of upgrades into it.
