This is what I think is an Armisport 1861 Springfield musket. It has been completely defarbed. All the modern markings have been removed, the serial number was moved to the bottom of the barrel hidden by the stock and the stock has an oil finish. There is an inspectors cartouche on the stock opposite the lock and the barrel has the V P and eagle head on the breach. It is in great shape with hardly a mark on it. The barrel is bright and shiny and comes with a leather sling.
My camera is an old one but you can get the idea. The markings on the barrel and stock show up a lot better live then in the pictures. I can send more pictures on request. $750 + 40 shipping to the 48.
