I was getting ready to cast a few minies and ran across a mould I acquired somewhere. It is a single cavity semi wadcutter marked 575 B and B2015. It is all aluminum. Who made it, what handles does it use, and has anyone used one like it and how do the bullets perform?

It looks like a Shiloh mould that I had back in the late 70's.

Looks similar to an old Shiloh mould I had years ago. My guess is also a Shiloh.

Thanks for the info, Mike & Harry.

Does anyone have an extra set of handles or know where to find a set? Not having much luck on the 'Net so far.

the slots look standard so most any lyman, rcbs or saeco large handles should work. but best of all and the cheapest of the bunch are lee production handles for their 6 cav molds. they used to be around 15 bucks and in my opinion are the best of all of them. moose uses these on his custom molds. i have know others who also used them. they are hard to beat. with any handle and mold combo they sometimes need minor fitting. i have used them on about every kind of mold i own.

hp - Thanks for a great "tip." Didn't know that about Lee handles...got an extra set in the shop...putting them on right now! Thanks again.

I'll give a strong 2nd to the Lee handles. they are lighter for sure.

Thanks for the tip, HP. I tried a pair of large Lymans and the mould wouldn't open. I'll look for a set of Lee handles.
