Pat, I wasn't aware anyone ever built an 1841 cadet model. Are you sure it's not an 1851? 1841 cadets don't have any of the same hardware but the buttplates. Has it been n-ssa approved? Thanks

I will have this firearm inspected. I wrote John Holland and he said I can get a card
for it if it is up to specs,which it is. It is a beauty. I can forward John's email if you

I found out that Bruce Cobb was right. The 1841 is not approved firearm.
We are going to change the lock plate to a 1851 model.
The barrel is a 51 and the rest is also. I will have it
inspected next weekend at our Springfield shoot.
