Looking to buy a shootable Original Spencer rifle. Has to have a good bore.
It is OK if it doesn't have conversion.

Here’s a Spencer Rifle (SN 8180) currently available for $2,924.50 (reduced from $3,899.95), and based on the serial number, was possiby issued to the 8th Indiana Cavalry (Spencer Rifle SN 8120 is ID’d to Co. G, 8th Indiana Cavalry, 8 April 1863, though 7188 has been ID’d to 72nd Indiana Volunteer Cav, part of Wilder’s Brigade). Advert says its available through 3/31/13 so if you want it, you had better hurry.

Hi

I have a 1865 spencer in 56-56. I got it a few years ago and have the conversion breech block and new mag spring and follower for centerfire. I believe I also have a mould for it as well. Let me know if you are interested and I will send pix. Looking for around $2700 with all of the above included. I have replaced the tumbler so the trigger is a little hard, but can be lightened very easily.

take care
