This patt. 1855 Beaumont Adams 54 bore revolver is definitely an old warrior and goes for a bargain price.
It could have an interest for collectors study.
It is obvious that it has quite an amazing history ; judging by the cracks on the frame, we can see that, in a hazardous shot, the chamber was not properly aligned with the barrel and the bullet hit its entrance with such violence that managed to bend the frame.
Both revolver and cylinder have same number 51999.
Birmingham proof marks.
Ejector rod broken.
Action still functions.
This piece could have been distributed to the Portuguese Navy, as they have used tis pattern at the time.
Price 150 Euros; including shipping, paypal accepted.
Open to proposals.
