I have decided that there is a project I want to work on. I am in search of an orginal Model 1842 smoothbore. It can be a Springfield or Harpers Ferry. Any date of manufacture is fine also.:o
The catch is this, funds are tight, and I still have a P-H Volunteer for sale. I would LOVE to trade the P-H Volunteer for an orginal '42. The musket doesn't need to be the prettiest in the world, but it does need to be shootable. IF I can get this trade done, I will most likely have a Potsdam up for a nice price. (600-700 range)
( I need to get the trade done for the 1842 first, before I can sell the Potsdam.)
