Half cock

I have a Sprigfield repop lock that I am trying to lighten the trigger pull on. As soon as I get the trigger pull under 7 lbs the hammer starts catching in the half cock position. What is the best remedy to correct this problem :?:

Thin out the lower arm of the sear spring. Shave it with a Dremel or find somebody with a selection of replacements and pick out a lighter one.

Circumfrence the top of the half cock, a machinist could do it. Dont let it keep hitting the half cock because it evenyually will break the sear. Pat Kelly or some other gunsmith could do this easily.
