WTB - 1842 Armisport Smoothbore musket, Christmas present for a friend

A friend's wife wants to buy him a smooth bore for a Christmas present. He doesn't use this board, so I know
my secret is safe with you guys, right? Right!

If anyone has a good used or new in the box 1842, please reply as soon as you can. We need time to arrange for payment and shipping so Santa can get this baby under the tree by the 25th.

He has a 42 Armisport with a bayonet for $550, PERFECT for a guy that wants to start shooting a smoothbore.

I tried to reply to the thread, but I had to register first. Then, the forum bounced my registration request around for about 2 hours and now someone else has sent a pm for the 42.

That's my friend's bad luck, but thanks anyways for trying to "hep".

PS - That seller lives only about 100 miles away from me here in Michigan. Oh, well (sigh)
