Bill,,,,,,,,, Reese meant to post this in the Civil War Arms section as he's still trying to figure out a fair price to ask. And the prices listed are what someone told him right before they said they'd take them both. I'm sure he's had a bunch of offers to take them both at that price.

Raider,
I assumed that much. I just wanted to let him know that I'm interested and will wait till the dust settles and see what kind of a price they will go for.

Sorry Bill, and thanks Raider for explaining. I meant to put this in the arms section. Total noob move. I was mostly asking for values of the pieces and with the all the PM's with interest in buying I had plenty of people excited for some bargains, but as much as Id like to give everyone a deal I dont want to get undersell myself. Sorry again for the confusion but I have updated the first post with my prices set or obo.

How long is the barrel on the "sportarized" 1852 Reese? Looks like the makings of a great Confederate modified smooth bore. And the prices are still more then fair.

Thanks raider. The barrel is 34" . 36" to the screw. Both guns have smooth actions and strong locks.
